We have all been affected as we have watched the plight of the people on the Gulf Coast brought on by the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina. As in any catastrophic event, it is children who are often the most affected: children who lose homes; children who lose parents and children who can no longer receive adequate medical care.

The destruction of hospitals and health care infrastructure across the Gulf Coast is one the most startling aspects of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. As a result, The BOWI Foundation has been moved to provide financial assistance above and beyond our previous assistance levels to: Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Children's Hospital in New Orleans and Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.

It is our hope that in doing our small part to provide assistance where we work and to the people we work with that these hospitals will be able to not only regain their previous operating capacities, but will surpass their previous status as healthcare providers. It is through the individual and corporate support that you provide that enables us to be able to make a difference in the lives of real people in need. Thank You!
